Cutting and collecting some of the surrounding grassed area for reuse as habitat for small mammals. Assessing previous coppicing of the willows as a guide to the further management of the remaining willows. Monitoring species seen on the site. Litter picking around the surrounding areas. Tools are available but it would be useful if you could bring one or more of the following: secateurs / shears / loppers / saws. Litter pickers and bin bags will be provided. Please wear appropriate clothing, footwear and gloves. We have selection of sizes of waders available.
