Over the month of September we have been very busy with two working parties.

Wednesday 4th September – The Backs

The Backs is the path that runs from Chesham Underground Station towards Hospital Hill. It gets overgrown and covered in litter. On the 4th of September the Environmental Group went out and cleared it and collected around 25 bags of rubbish.

Sunday 15th September – Holloway Lane

The section of the river that flows down Holloway Lane is called ‘The Little Chess’. During the summer the banks get very overgrown, the river gets obstructed and the overhanging trees need cutting back. The group managed to achieve all of that.
